Welcome to our Guests: Welcome in the Name of Our Blessed Lord! We are pleased that you are gathered with the Faithful around the Gospel in Preaching and the Sacraments. If you are visiting with us for the first time, please sign our guest book along the back wall and introduce yourself to Pastor Wegener before or after the service. Our facilities are for your use. The bathrooms are located near the North entrance at the top of the staircase. The ushers are ready to assist you in any way possible.
LWML Mission Statement: The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
Lutheran Women in Mission-The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), with a membership of over 250,000, is the official women's auxiliary of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry among the people of the world. For over 60 years the LWML has been encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to financially support global mission.

You are invited to hear Dr. Lawrence Rast as he presents "Making Sense of American Lutheranism" on Saturday, October 24. The day starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. Cost is free to students with a freewill donation from all others. See the announcement on the bulletin board for more details.
Help. Help. It's Thrivent dinner time. Scheduled for November 1st and expecting the usual crowd of 200 or more, a crew of workers from the congregation and LSF will be needed. Sign up sheet are available in the gathering area. What do you sign up to do? Pies will need to be furnished for dessert, lots of them. Cook and prepare food on the 30th. Set up on the 31st. Serve and clean up on the 1st.
Building Healthy Families: Disasters happen without warning. By making a family disaster plan, you can be prepared for the unexpected. Find out about the disaster plans at your workplace, your children's school or day care center, and other places where your family spends time. Involve all members of your family to create your own Family Disaster Plan using helpful planning tools available through the Red Cross at www.redcross.org. LSF News:
Campus Ministry Volleyball: This week's game starts at 7:00 p.m. at St. Stephen the Witness Catholic Student Center located next to University Book and Supply. Students meet Pastor Wegener at Maucker Union at noon on Thursdays for Table Talk. Pastor will bring the food. Save this coming weekend October 23-24 to attend the annual LSF Fall Fling. Details of the event are found in the October Newsletter. Sign up to help with the Thrivent Dinner. Thrivent funds help fund LSF activities. This is your way to say thank you.
