Outreach Mark 10:2-16: In this Gospel reading Jesus blessed the
children who were brought to Him and used this as a teachable
moment for His disciples when He said that anyone who does not
receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
Children are precious in the eyes of Jesus and so are sinners who are
lost in their sin. What an encouragement for us to be active in sharing
the good news with children and others who need to hear some
good news!

Stewardship Thought Hebrews 2:1-13 (14-18): Through God's grace in
Christ Jesus the Holy Spirit brings us into the family of God. As
members of this same body of believers we seek to build one another
up. How we treat each other is definitely an important part of our life
as God's redeemed stewards.
Building Healthy Families: Saint Peter compares the suffering we
endure in this life to a refiner's fire, working to purify our faith. Lutheran
Family Service, through its Christ-centered counseling services, seeks
to help people understand the difficulties in their life through the eyes
of faith. If you or someone you know is in the midst of unbearable
suffering or just needs an objective opinion from someone who shared
your faith perspective, please call your local LFS office. Lutheran

Lutherans for Life: "Look at your hands. They are now Christ's hands of
blessing in this world. Use them to be a blessing because there are so
many who are treated as insignificant, of no value, and are in danger
of being trampled upon. Yes, Christ's big hands of blessing are right
here in His Church and in this world." Rev. Dr. Glenn A. Nielsen,
Concordia Seminary, St Louis, Missouri This "Life Quote" is from
