1470AM at 8:00 a.m. and KXEL, Waterloo 1540AM at 9:30 a.m The
Lutheran Hour message for next Sunday is "No Hope." Speaker: Rev.
Dr. Ken Klaus. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall
be comforted." A young man's funeral shows what it means to mourn
without hope. (Matthew 5:4)

We thank Pastor Michael Wagnitz for being here this week to share
God's Word with us. We pray God's blessing upon his work among us
and his ongoing work in the name of the Lord.

Evening Guild will be dining out on Thursday, November 6 at 5:30 p.m.

In Sunday School today: Samson was the subject of this week's
Sunday School lesson. Students learned that Jesus repeats and
completes Samson's deeds of deliverance for us and for our
salvation. When we are weak, He is strong! Consider asking, "What
was the true source of Samson's strength? Who is the source of our
strength?"

A new congregation directory is available for you to pick up today.
They can be found on the table in the gathering area. Be sure to pick
up yours, as well as one of someone who isn't here this morning so
that you can deliver it to them this week.

LSF News:

Tonight be prepared to get a little messy as we clean out some pumpkins
and come up with some creative carvings at 5 p.m. We'll enjoy some
pizza and drinks before getting our hands dirty. All students are welcome
to come and bring friends.

Are you a young woman and interested in learning about the
Women of the Bible? Would you like a time to get together with other
young women and discuss the Bible and life? Tonight the young adult
women's Bible Study will start at 7:30 p.m. at College Hill Lutheran. It
will be a time to have Bible Study and provide a safe time to discuss those
things we go through as young women. For more information contact

Campus Ministry Volleyball: The championship game is this week and
we are in it. The game against the Wesley Center starts at 7:00 p.m. at
St. Stephen the Witness Catholic Student Center.

Wednesday join us for Vespers at 7:00 p.m., choir at 7:30 p.m.

This Wednesday, Oct. 29 beginning at 8 p.m. we will have a
Reformation costume party in the Brammer Student Center with fun
games and food. Best costume will win a prize. Come dressed in whatever
costume you desire, although costumes relating to stories from the Bible
and church history would be particularly enjoyable. Pictures of Luther and
other notable Lutherans from the Reformation Era may aid in your attire,
ask Pr. Wegener for ideas and he'll be glad to help.

Students meet Pastor Wegener at Maucker Union near Essentials at
noon on Thursdays for Table Talk. Pastor will bring the food.
